Located at the Kearney Area Chidlren's Museum. Dobytown has sponsored and managed this project since the late 1980s.
Dobytown Junction
Dobytown Kiwanis has been a longtime sponsor of Kearney Area Children's Museum. One of our projects has been the Model Train Display. First built and set up in the 1980's led by Charter Member the late Myron Haines at the then Museum location on Ave A and Railroad. The Model Train display was moved to a new room at the old location and when the Children's Museum moved to another location the train display was put in storage due to a lack of space. Dobytown Kiwanis member Paul Braden took over management of Dobytown Junction upon the passing of Myron. The Club appreciates all the work Paul does for the Children's Museum.
