Back 2 School LinkSchool Backpack Project
Dobytown Kiwanis Signature Project will be held August 3rd 2026 at Kenwood Elementary. Club members and the community members will pack backpacks with school supplies. Dobytown Kiwanis works directly with Kearney Public Schools to get backpack and supplies to school kids in need.

DOBYTOWN KIWANIS OF KEARNEY
Since 1993 Dobytown Kiwanis has provided Backpacks and school supplies for Kids in Need in the Kearney Area. The "Back 2 School Link Backpack Project" has become an extremely important project to get kids off to school ready to learn. Approximately 18,000 students have received backpacks of school supplies since the project's inception in 1993.

In 2025 Dobytown donated over 750 Backpacks with school supplies for kids in need on Monday August 4th at Kenwood School.
