Serving Children of the World

Dobytown Kearney Kiwanis Club founded in 1978 is a dedicated group of men and women whose focus is improving the lives of Children in the Kearney, Nebraska area and around the world. Our members and club donated over $20,000 and provided over 2,800 hours of service to the community for 2025. 

The Club meets every Tuesday morning at 7am at Perkins Restaurant South 2nd Ave in Kearney.
Dobytown Junction
Dobytown Kiwanis built and continues to support the model train display at the Kearney Area Children's Museum at 5827 4th Avenue in Kearney. 
This is an interactive display and we invite all children and parents to visit Dobytown Junction

Pancake Day
The Kearney Kiwanis Club's annual Pancake Day was Saturday February 15th. Money raised helps support the School Backpack Project and Coats for Kids. 
 
Backpack Project
Since the early 1990s Dobytown Kiwanis Club of Kearney has provided new Backpacks with school supplies for Kids in need to start the school year of right. The project is held in early August. Over 17,000 Backpacks have been provided since 1992.
